The Ministry of Health and Population has confirmed the death of patient suspected of having ebola infection admitted at Kapolo Health Centre in Karonga.
The patient was brought to Kaporo health center last on Monday night and after the test it was revealed that the patient was not suffering from Ebola.
District Environmental Health Officer Lewis Tukula said the deceased aged 37 died of bacterial infection on Tuesday afternoon.
