A 37 year old man is in cooler for allegedly defiling and impregnating a 13 year old step daughter and encouraging her to terminate the pregnancy.
The man, who is a professional bus driver is said to have committed the unthinkable thing thrice, thus he is facing three charges of rape.
Appearing before Bulawayo magistrate Sibongile Marondedze, the man is said to have took advantage of the girl as his wife often goes out on errand.
Prosecuting, Ms Caroline Matanga said between January and March this year, the man took advantage of his wife’s absence and raped his step daughter on three different occasions.
