Early morning today five unknown gun men attacked the human Rights Defenders Coalition activist reverend Mc Donald Sembereka house in Lilongwe and tried to petrol bomb his place.
Sembereka said five men in camouflage gear actually invaded his home and left the bullet shells after the shooting.
“It is true that gunmen invaded my house in the wee hours around 1 or 2 this morning they started shooting at my gate. Luckily my house is far from the gate. They had the assumption that my house is very close to get but it is far from the gate.
They entered the compound and started shooting and shouting that I should leave Jane Ansah alone because she is not my mother and that I should not say anything about Jane Ansah,”Said Sembereka.
According to Sembereka the ones that were visible were about five, some of them were in camouflage and some of them were in civilian all of them had guns in their hands.
More to come in this developing story.
