The Human Rights Defenders Coalition (HRDC) says it will soon hold the Anti-Jane Ansah demonstrations in Mzuzu.
Addressing the media in Lilongwe HRDC member Luke Tembo made the announcement that soon dates for the planned demonstrations will soon be announced.
The coalition dubbed the demonstrations ‘citizen assembly’ will start from Mzuzu, Lilongwe finishing in Blantyre.
HRDC is calling for Ansah’s resignation for allegedly mismanaging May 21 tripartite elections.
Meanwhile, United Transformation Movement (UTM) President Saulos Chilima and his counterpart Malawi Congress Party (MCP) leader are seeking nullification of the presidential poll results where the electoral body declared Peter Mutharika a Democratic progressive Party (DPP) president winner of the disputed elections.
