Fire has consumed part of the Blantyre market rendering vendors playing trade in the market hopeless, Faceofmalawi can reveal.
The fire accident happened on Tuesday night.
The fire accident affected the section where Irish potatoes and other merchandise are sold.
The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage is yet to be established.
