Information reaching Faceofmalawi indicates that Veteran journalist Greyson Chapita has been appointed as Malawi Broadcasting Station (MBC) Controller of News, Current Affairs and Online Services.
According to information at hand, Chapita has also been transferred from Lilongwe to Blantyre.
Chapita has been vocal on social media attacking the main opposition Malawi Congress Party (MCP) under Dr. Lazarus Chakwera.and he played a very big role in campaigning for the ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) in the May 21 polls.
The promotion is reward for him for supporting President Peter Mutharika in the May 21 polls.
