Police in Nkhata Bay are haunting for Holland Banda, a convict who escaped prison custody and allegedly killed his grandmother
Nkhata Bay police publicist sergeant Kondwani James confirmed the development adding that the suspect who is 26 years old, escaped from prison on October 25.
Police suspect that Banda managed to take his grandmother Edda Banda along after her whereabouts where not known around the same time.
The grandmother’s body was found in a decomposed state yesterday, Thursday in Lisale, Nkhatabay.
