Cross examination of the sixth witness of Malawi Congress Party (MCP) Daudi Sulemani is still underwater as it has not yet commenced.

Earlier today, it was communicated that the hearing of the case which involved Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) lawyer Kalekeni Kaphale cross examining Sulemani will start at 10 am.

Sulemani was due to start testifying in the Constitutional Court yesterday but he was interrupted by a technical hitch.

He is expected to demonstrate the electronic systems used by MEC and how the MCP believes the technology was used in rigging.

Thus far, there have not been any official communications about the delay as the lawyers remain in the chamber.
