Lawyers of the first respondent in the presidential election polls President Peter Mutharika have confirmed the withdrawal of 68 witnesses.
Lead counsel for Mutharika, Frank Mbeta said out of 70 witnesses only 2 ill be paraded in the Constitutional Court hearing the case in Lilongwe.
According to Mbeta, Ben Phiri and Bob Chimkango are the ones to testify in the court.
Initially Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) planned to parade 243 witnesses before presiding judges ordered them to trim the number to 70.
