Former Minister of Home Affairs and Internal Security Uladi Mussa has started answering charges of dubiously granting Malawian citizenships to ineligible Rwandan nationals.

Last month, the court found Mussa, former President Peter Mutharika’s Advisor on Parliamentary Affairs and DPP Vice President for Central Region alongside Immigration Officer David Kwanjana and two others with cases to answer on offences committed when he was minister.

Speaking in Tiuzeni Zoona Programme weeks ago Mussa defended himself, saying his has are clean.

Mussa went further by attacking the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) of failing its duties, saying the anti-grafting body is just wasting public resources for nothing.

But ACB fired warning shots at Mussa, urging him to term his mouth.
