Students from Polytechnic, a constituent college of the University of Malawi (UNIMA) this morning went on rampage blocking Chipembere Highway in the commercial capital Blantyre protesting robbery incidents at the campus.

Faceofmalawi understand that on Monday night thieves invaded the campus and went away with various items such as laptops, cell phones, clothes, among others.

This angered the students who this morning stormed the Chipembere Highway in protest against the insecurity at the campus.

Dean of students Luciano Ndalama has assured the students that authorities will look into the matter.
