Lawyers representing Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) the second respondent in the ongoing presidential election case have today started re-examining the second witness Hensley Munkhondya.
Lawyer for Malawi Congress Party (MCP) Mordecai Msiska finished cross examining Munkhondya.
After finishing cross examining Munkhondya, Msiska said he was reasonably happy with Munkhondya’s answers citing that he was truthful in his response.
On the other hand lawyer for United Transformation Movement (UTM) president Saulos Chilima, Khumbo Soko said satisfied with the evidence they have established in the cross- examination of Munkhondya adding that the evidence they have established will help when filling their final submission.
Meanwhile the hearing of the case is underway at the Constitutional Court in Lilongwe, it resumed 8 am this morning as one way of expediting time as the court is striving at finishing the hearing on December 6.
