Reports reaching Face of Malawi indicate that five truck drivers who were leading their colleagues in demanding a salary increase have been fired.
Earlier before their dismissal, the five truck drivers who have been working with Mount Meru were suspended.
It is also reported that they have been replaced already.
Among the five is the President for the Truck drivers association.
For the past weeks truck drivers have been demanding a salary increment claiming a majority are earning K25,000 a month.
