Information reaching Faceofmalawi indicates that protesters in the capital Lilongwe have chased law enforcers assigned to provide security during the Freedom March organized by Human Right Defenders Coalition (HRDC).
The protesters blocked vehicles carrying police officers from finding its way to Lilongwe Community Ground where protesters have gathered.
Heavy rains being experienced in the capital Lilongwe have forced organisers of the Freedom March to delay the protest.
Meanwhile the protesters have also attacked a truck belonging to Southern Bottlers Limited.
