The Blantyre High Court has nullified Mangochi West Constituency parliamentary election results.
The development means Geoffrey Chiwondo who was declared winner of the May 21 parliamentary polls in Mangochi West Constituency is no longer an MP.
Judge Sylvester Kalembera has since ordered Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) to hold a rerun.
Independent shadow member of Parliament for Mangochi West Constituency Simeon Harrison challenged the results on the basis that the commission declared a wrong winner.
