Information reaching Faceofmalawi indicates that 56 students from Lunzu Secondary School have been dismissed following the fracas that erupted at the school last year.
The school management has also suspended 28 other students from the school for taking part in the violent protest which led to the closure of the school.
This has been disclosed today when the school re-opened after being closed for two months.
Last year, students from Lunzu Secondary School went on rampage destroying school properties, accusing management of failing its duties.
The protest forced the Ministry of Education Science and Technology (MoEST) to close down the school.
