Nkhunga First Grade Magistrate‘s court in Nkhotakota has sentenced two men to eight years imprisonment with hard labour each for defilement.
Spokesperson for Nkhunga Police Ignatius Esau has identified the first accused as a 66 year –old man.
He said he defiled an eight year-old girl last December.
The other is a 24 year-old man. According to Esau, he defiled and impregnated a 15 year-old girl between June and December last year.
The two pleaded guilty to the charge. They have since been handed an 8 years – prison sentence with hard labour each for the offenses.
