71-year old Abimbola Idowu, who goes by the stage name, Segilola Grey is redefining what modeling is in Nigeria.
Abimbola started modeling when her celebrity hairstylist son, Tosin, realized that there were barely photographs of elderly people except there was a special function.
With an elderly mother at home, Tosin prepared his mom for a photoshoot. Although, the photoshoot took a little bit of convincing, mama Abimbola has come to love her modeling job, so much that she gave up her former job as a traditional wedding anchor.
Now a professional model, mama Abimbola and her son hopes that the fashion industry will be more accepting of elderly models.
