The continuation of Anti-Ansah demonstrations organized by Human Rights Defenders Coalition (HRDC) are currently underway in all parts of the country with new agenda added on their demands.
Heavily armed Police as well as their military personnel are the ones providing security just as they have been doing with other round of nationwide demonstrations the coalition has been organizing.
The biggest agenda of today’s protest, HRDC is demanding the arrest of individuals who allegedly attempted to bribe judges hearing the May 21 presidential election case.
When addressing people who gathered at Kwacha round about Masauko Thawe leader for HRDC in the Sourthern region also added that the coalition wants Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) reveal the names that were mentioned.
Chef Justice Andrew Nyirenda on Sunday lodged a complaint that some people form the government and business sector attempted to bribe the five panel of judges hearing the polls case.
Director General for ACB, Reyneck Matemba, however maintained hi stand that he is not going to reveal names of the mentioned Individuals.
