Director General for Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Reyneck Matemba has arrived at Blantyre High Court where he is expected to make an application to set aside the order that is restraining the bureau to arrest First Discount House (FDH) boss Thom Mpinganjira.
The business mogul was released at midnight following an application his lawyers made at the Zomba Magistrate court quashing the arrest of Mpinganjira.
Mpinganjira was arrested in relation to the bribery of judges in handling the elections court case whose judgment is pending.
Matemba, however has told the media that he was surprised with the order made in Zomba by Principal Resident Magistrate Ben Chitsakamile, saying both parties had agreed to take Mpinganjira to court today and allow him apply for bail.
