ZIMBABWE – A married man who was allegedly having a sexual affair with an artisanal miner’s wife was reportedly bewitched with permanent erectile dysfunction by his mistress’s jilted husband.
Local press has established that Tererai Moyo who had been bedding Shingai Mandizvidza’s wife, Rachael, discovered-much to his shock-that his sexual organ was no longer functional when he tried to have sex with his wife. In a classic case of poetic justice, Tererai’s marriage is reported to have hit the rocks after his wife made the discovery that his erectile dysfunction was as a result of bedding a married woman.
The incident took place in Ndangara Village which falls under Chief Chireya’s jurisdiction.
According to the local publication, B-Metro, Moyo had been warned several times by Mandizvidza’s uncle against sleeping with Rachael but turned a deaf ear to his advice. Mandizvidza, however, decided to fence his wife, a practice where a spell is cast on whoever sleeps with her, with sometimes serious consequences, such as death.
Moyo has been having a sexual relationship with the married woman since 2017. He once was warned by the husband’s uncle to stop seeing Rachel but he turned a deaf ear to his advice.
When he tried to have sex with his wife his manhood failed to rise to the occasion. After that he drank an aphrodisiac concoction but still it never rose and it remained flaccid.
After the problem persisted, the troubled couple reportedly enlisted both the services of a (traditional healer) and a prophet who spilled the beans and told them that the problem would only be fixed by Mandizvidza. This disclosure threatened to wreck Moyo’s marriage.
The inyanga revealed to them that his problem was due to sleeping with a fenced married woman and for it to be solved they had to engage Mandizvidza.
His wife fumed at him. She vowed to desert her marriage but elders intervened and calmed her down and she agreed to stay.
