A new grouping in fighting corruption, the National Anti-Corruption Alliance has asked the Judicial Service Commission and Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) to investigate Benedicto Chitsakamire for possible corruption and bribery in the way he handled business mogul Thom Mpinganjira’s warrant of arrest.

The grouping said this on Thursday at a press briefing held in Lilongwe.

According to Vice Chairperson of the grouping, Timothy Mtambo it is high time Malawians should stop respecting judiciary and start holding it accountable.

Mtambo demanded for immediate re-arrest of Mpinganjira failing which, the grouping will call for citizen arrest.

The high court in Blantyre is expected to make known of its review on the matter on Friday but described the cancellation as having anomalies.
