Trial of murder suspect,Misonzi Chamnthunya is expected to commence this morning at the high court in Zomba.
Judge Ruth Chinangwa will preside over the case which has dragged for over 10 years now.
Chanthunya is accused murdering his girlfriend Linda Gasa, fourth year student at Malawi College of Accountancy (MCA) in 2010.
He was repatriated back to Malawi in 2017 from South Africa.
Chanthunya former girlfriend Gasa was found buried under concrete bathtub at Chanthunya’s cottage in Mangochi.
He is currently on bail.
