A woman living in the national capital allegedly hanged herself to death moments after murdering her child.
The incident took place at the woman’s home in Shakurpur on Friday. The deceased woman has been identified as Sanju.
The police have not recovered a suicide note from Sanju’s rented accommodation. The woman had two sons. One of them lived with her in Shakurpur while the other stayed with his grandparents.
An investigation revealed that the woman had recently separated from her husband. She had been living at a rented accommodation with her four-year-old son.
She had shifted in the rented accommodation on January 7. A woman who lives in the same locality had given the facility to the woman on rent.
