Church members of Ground for God’s Gospel Ministries and family members of a Nigerian pastor who stabbed his wife before killing himself have agreed to demolish the building where the bizarre incident happened.
This publication previously reported that the Pastor, Elisha Nandoya Misiko allegedly stabbed his wife, Ann Mughoi in the hand and back killing her in front of the church’s congregants before going ahead to take his own life.
Now, according to Nandoya’s sister Violet Belia, the man of God had left a 17-paged wish list, citing demolition of the church building among his wishes.
On Sunday, January 28, relatives of the deceased and a section of congregants camped at the church premises to witness the demolition.
It was agreed that the church members will only possess the power meter and power cable, keyboard and the sound speakers.
“We have decided to demolish the church. The land is now in our custody and we will see what to do with it to help the children of my late brother. All members have agreed that the plot belonged to the late pastor Elisha Nandoya,” Belia said.
Misiko had reported his marriage woes several times at a local police station but the matter had not been resolved.
The fatal attack was therefore believed to be a culmination of the frustrations and anger details of which were captured in the suicide note entitled “betrayal and its consequences”.
