News just coming in on our news desk is showing that the ruling for the historic presidential elections case heard at the Constitutional Court in Lilongwe will be delivered on Monday February 3, 2020.

The date for the court verdict has been revealed in a press statement made available to Face of Malawi reporter.

Judgment of the presidential polls is expected to commerce at 9:00 in the morning at Lilongwe District Registry of the High Court of Malawi.

The case is being presided over by a five judge panel consist of; Judge Healey Potani, Judge Ivy Kamanga, Judge Dingiswayo Madise and Judge Mike Tembo.

United Transformation Movement (UTM) President Saulos Chilima and his counterpart Lazarus Chakwera of Malawi Congress Party (MCP) are seeking nullification of the presidential elections result where Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) declared Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) presidential candidate winner of the disputed election.
