Two people are in police custody in connection to undressing a woman in the heart of Blantyre city on Monday.
Blantyre police spokesperson, Augustus Nkhwazi, has confirmed of the arrest in an interview with the press.
The suspects who are yet to be identified are likely to answer a charge of insulting the modestly of a woman.
Meanwhile, Human Rights Consultative Committee chairperson, Robert Mkwezalamba, has described the Monday scenario as barbaric and counterproductive.
