Lilongwe Police Station is keeping in custody two men identified as Blessings Lifa, 32, and Shadreck Ndalama, 25, for allegedly killing a kabaza (motorcycle) operator and another in Biwi Township.
The first suspect, Lifa, hired a motorcyclist, Dismas Emmanuel, at Area 36 on 14 December 2019.
Ever since, Emmauel went missing until Sunday (yesterday) when his body was exhumed at Biwi within a compound of a house under construction.
Lifa revealed that he murdered the motorcyclist and buried him within the compound where he works as a guard.
Police officers and medical personnel exhumed the body and postmortem revealed that death was due to head injury caused by a sharp object.
Police have also arrested Shadreck Ndalama in connection to the same murder.
The two will appear before court after completion of investigations.
Blessings Lifa hails from Mphola village, Traditional Authority (T/A) Ganya in Ntcheu while Shadreck Ndalama comes from Mangamba village, T/A Liwonde in Machinga.
