The High Court has ordered the arrest of Chief Immigration officer, Masauko Medi, and his Deputy, Fletcher Nyirenda, for contempt of court.
This is in relation to a deportation fiasco which we reported last week involving a South African businessman.
According to the order by Joseph Chigona, the two are wanted after blocking the businessman from flying into Malawi to commence a judicial review of his deportation by Homeland Minister, Nicolus Dausi.
