India – Amid increasing incidents of child sexual abuse in the country, another case has been reported where a case has been registered against a school teacher, in Maharashtra’s Aurangabad, for allegedly showing porn to three girls of eighth standard.

Reportedly, on January 6, the teacher allegedly showed pornographic content to the three minor girls in his cabin. The family members of one of the victims penned down a letter to the Damini squad of the police and broke their silence on the issue, earlier this month.

Last weekend, the police paid a visit to the school and conducted a preliminary enquiry and recorded statements of the girl students. According to The Times of India, investigating officer Ashlesha Patil said that initially no case was registered against the accused teacher as the parents were not willing to come forward and speak about it.
