Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) has set days for demonstrations dubbed ‘restoration of democratic justice’

This follows the ruling by Constitutional Court to nullify May 21, 2019 presidential elections which saw their candidate Peter Mutharika a winner.

After the nullification of the presidential results, DPP has taken moves to reclaim their victory of the May 21, 2019 but they have been meeting obstacles as the courts trashed away their prayers.

The blue camp has planned to hold protest in all regions of the country as one way of claiming their victory.

Meanwhile, Human Rights Defenders Coalition (HRDC) is holding demonstrations across the country forcing Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) chairperson Justice Jane Ansah.
