Malawi Congress Party (MCP) President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera is finally in the August house.
This is the first time since he decided to absconded Parliamentary sitting to allow for constitutional Court hearing where he together with UTM party leader Saulos Chilima challenged the presidential election results.
On February 3, 2020 the constitutional court nullified the May 21, 2019 polls and called for fresh elections within a period of 150 days.
Just after the nullification of the polls Chakwera hinted that he will be returning to Parliament.
