Former Monsignor Father Michael Albert Mughogho of Mzuzu Diocese will be laid to rest today at Katoto Cemetery in Mzuzu City.
Father Mughogho died on Monday Monday February 17, 2020 at Mzuzu Central Hospital after succumbing to a prolonged stroke.
Until his death father Mughogho was a parish priest of St. Theresa Parish at Katete in Mzimba.
Born on January 3, 1950, Mughogho was ordained as Priest on August 11,1985 at St. Theresa Parish at Katete in Mzimba.
He was later on May 6, 1995 appointed Vicar General before being appointed Administrator of the Diocese On January 23, 2015.
This was after the death of Bishop Joseph Mukasa Zuza on January 15, 2015 and it is the post he served up until Bishop John Ryan was ordained as the Bishop of Mzuzu Diocese in 2016.
