A commercial sex worker in neighboring Zimbabwe was dragged to court on allegations that she had stolen US$300 (over K221,000.00) from her client after being booked for all night long sex service.
The incident is reportedly to have happened in the country’s mining town of Bindura.
According to BulawawayoNews24, the client on February 12 was at a night club when he hired the sex worker identified as Evelyn Mukombwe for sex rounds the whole night.
It is said the two went to a local lodge where they had sex.
However, in the morning, the client discovered that his money was missing and the sex worker had disappeared.
He then reported the matter to police at Chiwaridzo police station and only $50 was recovered.
Appearing before Bindura Magistrate Court, Mukombwe pleaded not guilty to the charge of theft before Magistrate Maria Msika.
The court granted bail to the sex worker.
