Reports reaching Face of Malawi indicate that President Peter Mutharika has directed a new ministry.
This has been communicated in a memo signed by Chief Secretary the Government Lloyd Muhara.
Muhara said the newly ministry directed by Mutharika is called Ministry of Disaster Management Affairs and public events.

Meanwhile, a person to hold the ministerial position for the newly directed ministry is not known.
