Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) has postponed the planned ‘march for justice’ demonstrations that were supposed to be held in Mzuzu today Friday.
DPP regional governor for the North Kenneth Sanga confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.

According to Sanga, the party will soon communicate on new dates.

The decision comes after DPP ranks filed complained that some parties have planned to masquerade as DPP supporters by dressing in DPP colours to cause violence during their peaceful march.

DPP cadets have been protesting the outcome of the Presidential polls case where Constitutional Court Judges nullified the polls.

The DPP cadets are accusing the Judges of favouring the opposition namely; Malawi Congress Party (MCP) and United Transformation Movement (UTM) in the ruling.

The protest by DPP has attracted mixed reactions with many accusing the ruling party of losing the plot.
