32 HOSPITALISED AFTER EATING POISONED FOOD AT SADAKA IN MANGOCHI

MANGOCHI – 30 people have been admitted at Mangochi district hospital after eating food at Ntanga area near Mpale in Liwonde.
“There was a funeral ceremony in the area where people started feeling unusual after eating Nsima and there is suspicion of food poisoning.” One of the locals narrated.
They are suspecting food poisoning from flour corrected in different house holds , but so far no death. One resident was bitter that his only offer was being taken to the funeral and added some poison.
Out of the 30 patients suspected to have food poisoning, 14 children have been admitted in children’s ward 11 in female ward and 5 patients in male ward.
