LILONGWE – Parliament has managed to set a date for fresh elections through amendment of Parliamentary and Presidential Act which says the elections will be heald on May 19 2020.
This amid protest from Government and Democratic Progressive Party.
The amendment has also allowed a run-off off presidential election to be held after 30 days if no candidate gets half or more of the valid votes.
