Nyasa Junior Academy (NJA) Sunday organized a fundraising event for the development of the Senior Academy at the school.

Founder and Managing Director for the school Rubina Hajat said the funds raised will go towards the project of the Senior Academy which they have just started.

“This is a social think for parents to interact with their children and we thank the parents who have been very supportive over the years since we started thirty eight years ago,” she said.

Hajat who is a teacher by profession said they have just started year seven and they want to start year eight next year.

She said at NJA they accommodate everyone as well as encourage respect for each other and the community.

Innocent Nkhata who is a Physical Education teacher at the school said they are raising money for the development of the school.

He said they want to build a good magnificent building, a two storey  building for the secondary saying that they organize such kind of event towards any development for the school.

Galore Mariam who sales doughnuts said she participated in the event to sale and advertise her business.

She said to her it was like an opportunity because she takes orders from customers within Limbe and Blantyre saying that she operates her business as an individual.

So does Uma Ira of Palette and Ink from Mudi who also said that they wanted to sale and raise awareness about their business.

Nyasa Junior Academy is a lively; child centered International Primary School, based in the heart of Limbe.

The school inspires to inspire, by mentoring students to reach their optimum potential. The school follows the Cambridge International Primary School Curriculum, which fits their efforts of mentoring well rounded individuals to succeed in their adult life.

The school has IT lab, Science lab, Library, swimming pool and music club for the toddlers just to mention a few.
