Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Secretary General Grezelder Jeffrey has said her party is not shaken by a Malawi Congress Party (MCP) and United Transformation Movement (UTM) possible alliance.
Jeffery said this in Mangochi at the end of their joint march with their counterparts United Democratic Front (UDF).
According to Jeffery DPP will reclaim its victory which the Constitutional Court ‘robbed’ them.
DPP has been holding demonstrations across the country against the February 3, 2020 court ruling which nullified the May 21, 2019 presidential elections.
UTM President Saulos Chilima and MCP’s Lazarus Chakwera, petitioned to court seeking nullification of the presidential poll results alleging that the results were marred with irregularities.
Meanwhile, the nation is expected to go to fresh presidential polls on May 19 following the court order.
