Association of Persons with Albinism in Malawi (APAM) President Ian Simbota has been fired at Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) for fighting against albino attacks in the country.
Simbota confirmed of the development in a statement posted on his official facebook page seen by faceomalawi reporter.
“Kuwala sikungawandikane ndi m’dima. I knew I would be fired & I said already to myself & my people that.
“Winners don’t quit & I will not because am a winner.This is just the beginning,” wrote Simbota.
Simbota is a person with albinism who fights for the welfare of his fellow persons with albinism who face abductions, killings and torture.
