Malawi Police SEIZED 2,259 Masks From Chinese National at KIA

LILONGWE – Reports reaching Face Of Malawi indicate that Police at Kamuzu International Airport have intercepted and seized 2,259 masks from a Chinese National, Liu Rishan, 38 who attempted to export them to China.

Airport Police Department Spokesperson Saplain Chitonde Lee said that Rishan was intercepted as he was about to board a flight to China with the masks mixed with biscuits.

On 14 February 2020 government issued a stop order temporarily restricting exportation of medical products including masks following the outbreak of the deadly Coronavirus in China.
