The Police in Lilongwe have arrested a maid who connived with thieves to steal motor vehicle and other assorted items from her boss house in Area 49 Sector 2 Bagdad.
According to information at hand, the maid who is yet to be identified is said to have invited the thieves to her boss’ house where she shared all the secrets of the house to the thieves.
“In Area 49 Sector 2 Bagdad, last week, a house girl brought thieves to her boss’ home. The house girl shared all the secrets of the house to the thieves no wonder they did everything like in a Nigerian film,” said an eyewitness.
According to the source, the thieves went away with a vehicle, Decoder for AZAMTV, Dstv and keys for other cars.
The thieves also managed to steal cash amounting to MK200, 000 from Airtel money.
The police arrested the maid in Ntcheu and the thieves were arrested later after tracking the call logs in the maid’s phone.
