Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) vice president for the central region Uladi Mussa has said Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) to hold tripartite elections and not only presidential polls.
Mussa said this at the National Elections Consultative Forum (NECOF) which took place at Mount Soche in Blantyre.
According to Mussa it is wrong to fault one process yet the entire elections were overseen by the ‘incompetent’ commission.
On assenting electoral amendment bills, Mussa said President Peter Mutharika should not be pressed to assent to the electoral bills because it is at his discretion.
