United Transformation Movement (UTM) leader, Saulos Chilima has announced that he has secured K75 billion loan fund for the youths, women and disadvantaged to start businesses.
chilima was speaking this yesterday at Njamba, during UTM rally.
“UTM pledges a K75 billion loan fund for the youth, women and other marginalized populations in the country. I have already identified the funds for this initiative,” said Chilima.
In 2018, Chilima promised to offer K40 billion to the youths if he gets into power and now he has increased it with K35 billion.
He promised the people at Njamba that all the programs that are in UTM manifesto shall be fulfilled.
“All the programs outlined in the UTM manifesto will be implemented and will be in the alliance package to be announced soon,” he said.
Chilima concluded by saying that it is the goal of UTM to end corruption, nepotism and discrimination and build a foundation for economic growth in the Malawi.
