Police in the Northern Region have shot dead two people in Mzuzu who were being pursued in connection with a spate of robberies.
Northern Region Police Deputy Public Relations Office Maurice Chapola confirmed of the development in an interview with Times radio.
According to Chapola, the bodies of the suspects are at Mzuzu Central Hospital.
Chapola refused to give more details on the matter.
