In India – It was a shock of life for a newlywed Bengaluru resident when he received an obscene clip of his wife on his mobile phone. And the incident took place just days before the two were to consummate their wedding.
Now, the man is seeking police action against his wife. According to Ramesh (name changed), he got married to Sadhna (name changed) in November last year in Hassan.
According to a report in Times of India, Suresh said he got the objectionable photographs of his wife on Facebook messenger on December 13 last year. Their first wedding night was scheduled for December 15.
The man who sent the photographs to Suresh also left a mobile number in the messenger. He claimed that Suresh’s wife was in a relationship with him for the last seven years.
Suresh said that the man, who identified himself as Rahul, told him that he was in a physical relationship with the Sadhna even after their engagement in June 2019.
“After this conversation, Rahul sent me a porn video showing my wife and him in an intimate situation. He also sent me WhatsApp screenshots of the chat messages between Sadhna and him between December 10 and 12. One of the messages shows the woman saying she like Rahul. In other messages, the woman said she is ready to dump me,” Suresh said in his police complaint.
Suresh said he was deeply disappointed with the incident and his family is still in shock.
After the harrowing experience, Suresh decided to file a complaint with Hassan police. Suresh later sought a detailed inquiry into the obscene photographs and video clippings of his wife. Meanwhile, the city police arrested Rahul who confessed to having an affair with the woman.
Police said Suresh has asked for a legal intervention in the case to establish that his wife has him cheated by having an affair with another man. Suresh claimed that even the parents of the woman were aware of her relationship.
Suresh said the woman’s uncle is threatening him against approaching the police.
“My wife has left behind a note blaming me and my family of abetting her suicide,” Suresh said.
Meanwhile, police have filed a case for breach of trust on the complaint of Suresh.
