8 people arrested for torching Jenda Police unit

Police in Mzimba have arrested eight people suspected of being behind the torching of a police post and a lodge at Jenda trading center in Mzimba.
Northern Region police publicist, Maurice Chapola confirmed of the arrest in an interview with the press.
According to Chapola, the suspects will appear in court soon.
They are expected to answer charges of causing malicious damage.
Chapola has since issued a stern warning against mob justice which is currently on the rise in the region.
