Member of Parliament for Mzimba West, Billy Kaunda has hailed newly constructed Mphelembe vacation skills training facility that it will help in curbing an employment problems in the area.
Speaking during the launch of the facility at Mphelembe yesterday, he said their are many people in the area and if they acquire skills from the vacation center they will be able to get employment.
“The population is growing and our needs are also growing so this is the only way to alleviate the sufferings of the people in the villages to equip them with skills so that they can rely on themselves,” he said.
Senior Chief Mphelembe applauded the development saying that it will help to put to an end early pregnancies and marriages.
The training facility will train approximately 3000 students in four years.
