Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) has said presidential candidates will submit their nomination papers from 23 to 24 April 2020 in Blantyre.
MEC said this on Monday during a press briefing the commission held.
MEC Chairperson Jane Ansah added that candidates are required to pay a fee of K2 million before these dates.
On registrations MEC has said people that registered in the 2019 tripartite elections should verify their names in the respective centers.
According to MEC, voter registration will commence of 4th April to 7th June and will be in 4 phases.
